Riverside County cannabis license application process may begin in February 2019

The Riverside County Planning Department updated its cannabis web site to reflect that it may start its competitive application process for retail, cultivation and microbusiness license applications in unincorporated areas as soon as this February.

Another development is that the County has indicated on its cannabis flyer that it will accept applications for Change of Zone "if a proposed cannabis operation is located in a Zone that does not allow the use." This could potentially make it easier for entrepreneurs and investors to find real estate for their enterprises.
